Given that I have been playing since Vanilla with no signs of quitting, I will keep this addon up-to-date to the best of my ability in the foreseeable future, including into the expansions beyond!
It should work even if your sound UI doesn't show the new value, and you can do /dump Get CVar("Sound_Num Channels") to verify.
I did notice with 7.3.5 that the Sound Channels setting (the number) got lowered for me, which is what allows for multiple simultaneous sounds playing at once.
Out-of-date versions below should still function as normal, but may be missing sounds.
By default, GSA2 uses the Master Sound Channel, which very few (if any) default sounds are specifically hooked into.
